Core to Edge Network Infrastructure and Security. Complete end-to-end forklift: Replacement of legacy core switching and routing with a modern, cost effective 10Gig solution and Next Generation Firewalls in a high availability configuration. The implementation resulted in a rock solid network with exponential improvements in performance and perimeter security.
Network infrastructure re-design. This project involved the conversion of a network which grew organically with the business to a high performance, scalable, enterprise class topology. The deployment included next generation firewalls to ensure internal and external perimeter security.
Over-The-Top (OTT) delivery. This solution involved Live Streaming and Video-on-Demand for two linear channels using Elemental Live streamers & transcoders, Wowza packagers and Limelight content delivery network (CDN) for web, mobile app and set-top-box.
Video Content Management System (VCMS). Defined, designed and provided development oversight of the VCMS which drives the delivery of VOD content for Anthem Media across all it's digital platforms. The workflow included the export of linear broadcast content with associated metadata, multi-bitrate video transcoding and delivery to Cloud Storage for distribution via CDN.
Vendor Management & Negotiation. Leveraged existing relationships and experience to negotiate preferred pricing with vendors (hardware, isp, cdn) which resulted in an average savings of 20% over client’s typical pricing.
Redundant Dual-ISP VPN environment. Designed and built a secure, redundant Dual-ISP VPN environment for internet based Broadcast Video Transport to and from multiple remote locations.
Internet based broadcast signal delivery. Deployed a highly reliable, cost effective end-to-end solution for the delivery of clients HD broadcast signal from Toronto, ON to an IPTV head-end located in Boca Raton, FL.
